VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Platinum Group Metals Ltd. (PLG) on Thursday reported a loss of $3.4 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $38.7 million, or 20 cents per share.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit 16 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 34 cents.
