PM Modi, President Kovind extend New Year greetings
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday extended greetings to the nation on the occasion of the New Year.
Taking to Twitter, PM Modi said, "Wishing you a happy 2021!, May this year bring good health, joy and prosperity. May the spirit of hope and wellness prevail."

The President in a series of tweets said that challenges that arose out of the COVID-19 situation strengthen the country's determination to move forward together.
"Happy New Year everyone! New Year provides an opportunity to make a fresh beginning and resolve for individual and collective development. Challenges arising out of COVID-19 situation strengthen our determination to move forward unitedly," the official Twitter account of Rashtrapati Bhavan tweeted.

Meanwhile, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu Naidu also tweeted, "I convey my warm greetings and best wishes to all our citizens as we step into the New Year 2021."
