A cancer patient, 8, was allegedly spat at by a group of boys as they waited for a water slide at Thorpe Park.

Surrey Police are hunting the teenagers after the parents of the young girl told them she was targeted because she had a shaved head from her cancer treatment.

The family of four were passing the information desk on the water slides by The Dome on their way out of the park when the assault took place on Sunday 6 June at 6pm.

As they walked away a group of four teenage boys waiting in line on the staircase for a water slide started spitting at them, police said.

The four suspects are described by police as 17-year-old boys, all around 5’8” tall.
