Police have offered a £10,000 reward to help find five “cowardly” men suspected of a murdering a man in an east London nightclub before fleeing the country.

Ricardo Fuller was killed on Saturday March 7 last year while attending a friend’s 30th birthday party in Ilford.

The 24-year-old from Waltham Forest is believed to have been stabbed as he was leaving the club before being chased by a group of men.

Police identified the suspects and charges were authorised by the CPS less than a month later but all five fled the country before they could be arrested.

The reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mr Fuller’s killers.

The men named by police are Emmanuel Tamwesigire, 29, of Chingford, Edmond Moses Tucker, 29, of Dagenham, Jermaine Ahenkorah, 27, Ahmed Sesay, 28, both of Plaistow and 23-year-old Abubaker Tarawally.

Mr Fuller’s mother Vicky said her son had been “a good role model” and a “funny, caring and loving person”.

She said: “Ricardo has been denied of so many things. Life will never be the same. If anyone out there knows anything about the men’s whereabouts or has any information at all, please come forward. It would help a grieving family try to get some justice for Ricardo.”

Detective Chief Inspector Perry Benton, from the Met’s Specialist Crime North, said the force was “committed to finding those responsible and bringing them to justice for their actions that night - both for Ricardo and for his family”.

He said: “We know that those wanted in connection with Ricardo’s murder have established links to London and that there may be people who are withholding vital information on their whereabouts overseas. It is both unlawful and cowardly that these men have chosen to evade police and we are doing all we can to locate them. We urge anyone with information about the incident that night, the men’s locations or anything else of relevance to report this to police.”

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101, quoting ‘Murder Ricardo Fuller’ or by calling the Incident Room on 02083451570.

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
