This is how the Pope greets Instagram's CEO: 'Keviiinnn!'

Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom recently became a billionaire, according to Forbes, which pegs his net worth at around $1.1 billion — mostly from Facebook stock.

But money isn't the only perk of running one of the most successful social media platforms in the world. You also get to make a lot of famous new friends like, in Systrom's case, the Pope.

According to Forbes, the Pope "summoned" Systrom to talk about getting the Vatican on Instagram earlier this year. The two got along well, and when they met again a few weeks later to launch the new account, the Pope greeted Systrom like an old pal.

“When I saw the pope the second time, he was like, ‘Keviiinnn!,’ as if we had gone to college together, like we played at the same golf club or something,” Systrom told Forbes. Systrom then stood over the Pope as he created the @franciscus Instagram. In just four months, that account has climbed to 2.9 million followers, and the Pope is a certified Instagram star.

If you haven't yet checked out the Pope's Instagram, it's quite good.
