Popular video game store reopens after closing permanently
THE owners of a video game store that has found new premises have said it's "brilliant" to be back.
The Loft Ladder was opened by Steve Wright in 2014 in the Marlands Shopping Centre and is home to two buisness; Retro Time and Cave.
Retro Time, which is run by Steve, sells comic books, vinyl records, games consoles, video games, and more.
Meanwhile, shoppers can find a selection of gemstones, crystals, incense, tarot cards, and lots more.
But after being a community staple for many years, the business was forced to shut its doors on March 12 after another company took over the premises.
However, in less than two weeks, it was offered another location within the shopping centre.

Steve told the Daily Echo: "It's such good and exciting news for us and for our loyal customers.
"And it's absolutely brilliant to be located just next door to our previous store.
"We are really looking forward to welcoming back our customers."
The doors to their new shop will be officially open tomorrow at 11.30 am.
Steve said the new venue is "brighter and more confined," but added: "We have made the most out of the space."
"Our store is like a safe space for children where they can chill and relax.
"There is nothing like this in the city.
"We are not only looking to make a profit out of this store but also want to give back to the community.
"I hope you all will enjoy the new look, with the old atmosphere of The Loft Ladder."

Samantha Seabournehawkins, co-owner of Cave added: "I'm really looking forward to seeing everybody again and welcoming our friends, family and customers to our new shop.
"I love Southampton and people around the world come to us. The city is so blessed with that.
"I would encourage everyone to keep supporting us and all the other independent businesses in whatever way they can."
The former Loft Ladder store will be replaced by Black Axe, an axe-throwing venue.
While the opening dates for the Southampton branch are yet to be confirmed, the chain also has venues in Belfast, Edinburgh, Margate, and Lancaster.
