Postmates is now delivering TikTok-inspired food items — here’s how to order

If you’ve spent any time on food TikTok this year, you’ll probably be happy about Postmates’ new menu offerings.

The food delivery app is rolling out a new promotion inspired by the sometimes strange, sometimes delicious foods that have gone viral on the app in 2020. According to TikTok’s website, the exclusive offering, called “TikTok Treats,” is Postmates’ first-ever “creator led” menu.

So, what does that mean, exactly? Basically, Postmates partnered with local restaurants to create customized versions of TikTok’s favorite snacks. The menu features four items: Dalgona coffee (also known as “whipped” coffee), bento boxes, pancake cereal and, of course, cloud bread.

There is some bad news, though. As of right now, the treats are only available for delivery in the Los Angeles area — with the promotion running until Nov. 22. It’s unclear if the menu will expand to new cities after that.

In the meantime, L.A. residents can skip the stress of making cloud bread at home and order a cloud bread-inspired cupcake from Dialog Cafe. The treats feature a fluffy, cotton candy topping and an Instagram-worthy rainbow topping.

For those who never committed to the whipped coffee and are now feeling left out, Coffee N’ Clothes has you covered. Meanwhile, B Sweet is serving up its own delivery version of the mega-viral pancake cereal — which comes in three different flavors.

Still, if you’re hungry for a full-on meal but want to stay trendy, there’s also the spicy tuna and yuzu salmon bento box from Sweetfin.

Unlike the other treats, Bento boxes don’t represent a singular food, but the concept went viral on the app earlier this year — thanks to plenty of satisfying clips of users assembling their lunches.

As Rolling Stone reported, the prices range from $7 for the cloud bread cupcakes to $20 for the bento box. That doesn’t include a tip or the cost of whatever time you spend trying to film a TikTok of yourself scarfing down the delivery.
