Prince Had 'No Control Over Cocaine Habit'

Pop superstar Prince had an uncontrollable cocaine habit, according to newly released police call records.

A police report from 20 June 2011 states that an unidentified female caller "is concerned about Prince's cocaine habit".

The caller told police at the time that the musician had "advised her last year in Germany that he cannot control his habit and she was advised to report it".

The caller contacted police from Germany, according to the report.

The phone logs were released by Carver County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday two weeks after the 57-year-old music star was found dead in a lift at his Paisley Park estate.

The records show that police had received 46 calls since June 2011 regarding Prince's Minneapolis-area home.

One call on 22 May 2013 contains an allegation from a female who "stated that she had been raped at Paisley Park".

The report, which does not specify who she accused of raping her, was investigated and no further action was taken, according to the sheriff's office.

Many of the other calls involved trespassing complaints and traffic calls.

Meanwhile, a former assistant to Prince has described him as very healthy and said she cannot understand his death.

Mariah Brown, who worked for the pop star until last year, said: "He was a very, very healthy person. That man has more energy than me, and anyone I know.

"The whole death didn't make sense to me. He never came across as sick, or anything like that."

A post-mortem examination was completed days after Prince died on 21 April, but the results have not been released.

Little is known about the star's death, though news reports have claimed he was battling a painkiller addiction.
