Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared an adorable new photo of Archie to celebrate his second birthday this week — and we can't believe how grown up he looks already!

Following a flood of congratulatory messages and pictures posted to various social media accounts from the royal family, Archie's parents, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex broke their silence by uploading a gorgeous black and white photo of the toddler to their Archewell site.

In the artful shot, Archie can be seen standing on the grass with his back to the camera, holding a large bunch of balloons — posted alongside a plea from his famous parents to their community to help support vaccine equity around the world, to mark their son's birthday.

Along with the picture, Team Archewell shared a message on the website:

'We have been deeply touched over the past two years to feel the warmth and support for our family in honour of Archie’s birthday. Many of you donate to charities on his behalf, and mark the occasion by giving back or doing an act of service—all through the goodness of your hearts. You raise funds for those who need it most, and continue to do so organically and selflessly. We remain incredibly grateful.

'As of today, around 80 percent of the nearly one billion COVID-19 vaccine shots that have been given were administered in wealthier countries. While we may feel that normalcy is around the corner, we remind ourselves that in much of the world, and especially in developing countries, vaccine distribution has effectively yet to start,' they explained, asking readers to donate to the cause.

Meghan and Harry concluded the statement by writing, 'We cannot think of a more resonant way to honour our son’s birthday. If we all show up, with compassion for those we both know and don’t know, we can have a profound impact. Even a small contribution can have a ripple effect. Together, we can uplift, protect, and care for one another. Thank you for celebrating with us' — the note was then signed off by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Happy birthday to Archie!
