Prince William couldn't tell if a baby photo was of him or Charlotte in sweet exchange: 'Our little Lottie'

Those royal genes sure are strong!

During their visit to Bradford, West Yorkshire on Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stopped into the Khidmat Centre, a community center that has become integral for the city's Pakistani community.

While meeting with the organization's staff and volunteers, the parents of three also had the opportunity to talk with baker Siama Ali, who had spent the past three days making an extravagant "William and Kate" cake for the couple.

Ali, who goes by Cup Caker on Instagram and has won slews of awards for her intricate and decadent designs, ensured that her detailed creation was fit for royalty, complete with a four-layer cake aptly topped with a crown, and trays upon trays of flag-decorated cookies and cupcakes. Atop of each cupcake was a photo of the royal family, whether of the duke and duchess as children or of their three children.

However, one photo, in particular, caught Prince William's eye.

After meeting Ali, the duke pointed out a photo of their "little Lottie," when in fact, the photo was of him as a baby. Royal fans have called out the resemblance Charlotte, 4, bears to her father, but this is the first time the duke has commented on it publicly himself!

"Is that me?" he excitedly asks Kate twice. "Or is that Charlotte?"

“That looks just like Charlotte," he told Ali. "That is incredible."

In 2018, a photo of Charlotte at Princess Eugenie's wedding went viral after it reminded fans of the royal family just how much of tiny doppelganger she really is.
