From Harper's BAZAAR

On Friday, Princess Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in an intimate ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor. Despite the wedding taking place during a pandemic, the couple were able to share the day with some of their nearest and dearest, including Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie.

The royal marked the occasion by writing a touching post about her sibling and her new brother-in-law on her Instagram account, where she expressed her excitement for the newlyweds.

“Couldn’t Bea happier (get it)…” the royal joked. “What a complete joy and privilege to watch you, my beautiful big sister, walk down the aisle to dear Edo.”

“I am so proud of you and I’m so excited to support you in the next chapter of your life. We are going to have so much fun together. Happy wedding day to you both.”

In the official photographs released of the day, Beatrice and Edoardo could be seen posing, in a socially-distanced fashion, with the Queen and Prince Philip. It is believed to be the first time that the royal couple have attended a family gathering since lockdown began.

Despite Beatrice's parents, the Duke and Duchess of York, not appearing in either of the released images, the palace has confirmed that her father walked her down the aisle and Eugenie's post confirms that she too was in attendance.

Beatrice and Edoardo were due to tie the knot at the Chapel Royal of St James's Palace at the end of May, but cancelled the ceremony in March due to the pandemic.
