Property: 8 homes on quiet cul-de-sacs

The reboot of Neighbours, set on fictional Ramsay Street in Melbourne, has brought cul-de-sacs to the fore like never before. Or at least not since the launch in 1982 of Brookside, which was filmed in Liverpool and ran for 21 years.

In real life, as on the small screen, such streets are deemed very desirable places to live. Being closed at one end there’s no through traffic, making them peaceful and safe for children to play on, and fostering a sense of community. If you think a cul-de-sac’s for you, take a look at these properties for sale.
