Property: 8 outstanding Art Deco homes

Art Deco grandeur
The epitome of art deco elegance

Dating from the 1920s and 1930s, Art Deco architecture always stands out from the crowd. ‘The lure of Art Deco property is undeniable. With a distinct aesthetic, the movement takes you back to the glamour of Old Hollywood and the Roaring ‘20s Paris, ‘ says Chris Dietz, Executive Vice President, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. ‘Created as a response against the Art Nouveau movement, a distinct genre that emulated forms found in nature, Art Deco embraced the new industry and technology of the day and showcased geometric shapes, futuristic finishes and machine-made materials.’ Original Art Deco houses and apartments are rare finds, but our detective work has uncovered a haul currently for sale.
