Roof terraces are versatile and low maintenance, leaving you more time free to enjoy the sunshine while socialising, relaxing or simply admiring the view, well away from the sounds of the street below. Turning an existing flat roof into a terrace can be quite complicated as you’ll have to go through the planning process, so why not save yourself the bother and move to a home that already has an elevated al fresco space of its own? From purpose-built flats and penthouses to clever conversions and city townhouses, all these properties fit the bill and are currently on the market.
