You won’t have far to go if you buy a home close to a racecourse, though according to estate agency Benham & Reeves you’ll typically pay a 12% premium compared with the wider area to live on the doorstep of a famous equestrian venue. 1. Golwg Gwendraeth, Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, from £199,995
