Yahoo Finance PS5 DualSense controllers launch in black and red - pre-order now
Good news for gamers all around – PS5 sessions just got a lot more colourful. For the first time, the DualSense controller is now available in new colours. It's only been rolled out in white in the past, but gamers will now also be able to choose from a Cosmic Red and Midnight Black.
According to PlayStation, both colours are said to be inspired by outer space, with the former being a take on the shades of red found "throughout the cosmos", while the latter's detailing of black and grey is intended to reflect "how we view space through the night sky".

"We wanted the new controller colours to complement each other, as well as the original DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console," Leo Cardoso, a member of PlayStation team has said. "So we designed the colours around the theme of 'galaxy' as it felt like a natural progression from the original PS5 and accessories designs."
The controller itself is said to deliver a "heightened sense of immersion" while playing PS5 games.

It also boasts a built-in microphone and a headset jack, so players can chat to their friends easily while they're mid-game.
Both new DualSense controller colours are due for release on June 18, and are available for pre-order now.
