The big clash of Tuesday night sees Paris Saint-Germain host Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final, with the second leg set to decide the tie in France.

Last week saw an epic battle in the snow between the two finalists from last year, with Kylian Mbappe and Co just edging the champions in a brilliant contest. Neutrals will be hoping for more of the same, though the added pressure from the all-or-nothing encounter could of course see both teams play it slightly more cautious this time around, at least to start with.

Three away goals for PSG, however, means Bayern will be forced to take the initiative to a point; they need to score twice at a minimum and hope for a much-improved defensive display.

At the weekend, PSG easily saw off Strasbourg to stay second in Ligue 1, three points off leaders Lille, while Bayern were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Union Berlin, with a late equaliser serving a reminder of how unusually routine it has been to breach the team’s back line of late. Hansi Flick’s side remain five points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, but it’s European glory they really want once more.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the second leg.

The match kicks off at 8pm on Tuesday, 13 April at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
