Radiohead To Release New Album This Weekend

Radiohead say their ninth studio album will be released digitally on Sunday at 7pm UK time.

The band, which deleted their entire history of social media posts earlier this week, also released the music video for one of the songs on their new record.

Daydreaming, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, shows frontman Thom Yorke appearing lost as he walks through a series of doors.

It is the second song to be released from Radiohead's new untitled album.

Anderson is the brains behind quirky Hollywood films like Boogie Nights and Magnolia - and lead guitarist Jonny Greenwood has scored some of his movies.

The music video accompanying the first single, Burn The Witch, was markedly different - and appeared to be an animated retelling of classic movie The Wicker Man.

Rumours of a new Radiohead record have reached fever pitch in recent days.

Some loyal fans have received cards in the post which were emblazoned with the band's logo and read: "Sing the song of sixpence that goes Burn The Witch."

Earlier in the year, the English band announced they will play three dates in London at the end of May - and tickets sold out in minutes.

The gigs are part of a tour which will also see performances across Europe and the US.
