Raptors 905 are drawing recognition for their stellar season inside the NBA G League bubble.
General manager Chad Sanders was named the G League Executive of the Year for the 2021 season, the team announced on Monday. Sanders was promoted to 905 general manager in 2018.

Sanders assembled the best offence in the competition, with the 905 leading the league in points and assists. His squad rattled off a nine-game winning streak to secure the top seed in the playoffs despite losing multiple players to call-ups and injuries, before eventually losing in the semifinals.
The 905 roster featured several standout players, including Henry Ellenson, who was then promoted to the Raptors on a 10-day contract. Forward Alize Johnson is also expected to draw interest from NBA teams, while Gary Payton II and Nik Stauskas also offer NBA-level skill sets. Rotation pieces Matt Morgan and Matt Mooney also had their moments as valuable contributors later in the season.
