Ratings: 'Increasingly has the measure of League One' - check out Barnsley FC's star turn in win over Shrewsbury Town
Killip: Protected well on his home league bow in first half. Had to be on his toes on the resumption. 6
Williams: Sloppy with one or two passes. Not vintage by his high standards, but did his bit to get a clean sheet still. 6
De Gevigney: In control, aside from one moment where he tugged the shirt of Benning. Coming along rather nicely. 7
McCart: Kept busy at times, but remained pretty solid. 7
Cotter: His blockbuster shot led to the Reds penalty. Sporadically threatened in first half. 6
Kane: Coolly-taken penalty. Some nice stuff in first half and held his ground in the second. Responsible. 7
Russell: Involved more in the first half than second. 6
Cadden: Not far away with a curling free-kick. Some nice deliveries and made a key goalline clearance on resumption. 7
Styles: A shame he had to come off, as he was having fun after scoring. The midfielder was hobbling gingerly after picking up a knock towards the interval and made way at the break. 7
Cole: Totally undressed Dunkley to set up Styles’s second. Much more than just a goalscorer. Showed leadership and quality. Class act at this level, summed up by a fine third. Increasingly has the measure of League One. 8
McAtee: Posed his former club problems with his ability to drop deep and his energy and hard running. 7
