On this edition of Posted Up with Chris Haynes, we pay tribute to NBA reporter Sekou Smith, who passed away at the age of 48 due to COVID-19. Smith was most notably known for his work on NBA TV and was the host and creator of NBA.com’s “Hang Time” podcast and blog, but was also a mentor and advocate for young NBA reporters starting out and friend and confidant to veterans in the NBA space.

Yahoo’s Vincent Goodwill, Marc J. Spears from ESPN’s The Undefeated, Marc Stein from the New York Times and Morgann Mitchell of Turner Sports join Chris to remember Sekou’s life and work, look back at their collective time with Sekou in the NBA’s ‘bubble,’ and share their favorite stories and memories.
