I've tried just about every eye cream and disposable mask on the planet, begging the chemical gods of skincare to get rid of my dark circles and perk up my deep-set bags, but nothing really worked. In fact, my credit card just continuously yelled at me.
But then I *finally* found my answer. Her name is the Forever Eye Mask — and she's 20% off for Black Friday right effing now. (FYI the code is applied at checkout!)
Forever Eye Mask, $25
If you’re anything like me (eye baggage included), then you’ve probably seen the little green pads all over Instagram and TikTok. Dieux Skin (aka #BeautyTok star Charlotte Palermino‘s skincare company!) created this simple product as a sustainable and cost-effective replacement to the very, very wasteful single-use eye masks that we all know and love so dearly.
Made of medical-grade silicone, it works a lot like a standard sheet mask by locking in all of your favorite products for an extra dose of magic. Mix and match the patches with your favorite serum, gel, or moisturizer, which means it works for pretty much any season and any amount of sleep you got the night before. I mean, in the long run, it is technically cheaper than a week’s worth of latte’s. Feeling like you need something with caffeine after staying up too late to finish Succession? What about something extra-hydrating like hyaluronic acid because your radiator was blasting all night long? The world (of skincare) is your oyster.
The texture of the patches took a little time to get used to, but once I broke them in after a couple uses, it felt like they were cut specifically for my bone structure. Just apply a small amount of your favorite product on your orbital bone like usual and wait 20 or so seconds for it to get a little tacky (this prevents any slippage!). Plop those babies on, tap it down, and…chill.
While it’s not an overnight fix to any eye issues, the mask definitely helps to perk up your face and, well, generally makes you look and feel significantly more alive. Plus, taking the recommended 10-20 minutes every morning and night to plop on the masks and just *ahh* take care of myself, is more than worth the price of admission. And that’s all anyone can really ask for, right?
