Rosneft awards tender to sell CPC Blend in Oct 16 - Mar 17 to Mitsubishi and BP - trade

MOSCOW, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Russia's top oil producer Rosneft awarded a six-month export tender to sell between 0.48 million tonnes and 1.62 million tonnes of CPC Blend to Mitsubishi (LSE: 7035.L - news) and BP, traders familiar with the tender results said on Tuesday.

The tender is for loadings between October 2016 and March 2017.

Rosneft has held three rounds of the tender and closed the last one on Friday last week.

The winners of the tender offered Rosneft a premium of around $0.40-0.50 a barrel, traders said.

The premium is applied to the price formula which includes an average of all dated Brent quotations, CPC Blend spread quotations and the freight on Black Sea - Med destination within nominated month of delivery. (Reporting by Olga Yagova; editing by Vladimir Soldatkin)
