Ryan Reynolds has a habit of defiling the wholesome – whether it's the likes of classic family entertainment Jeopardy! or Golden Girls icon Betty White.
It seems we can now add Sesame Street to this expanding list of institutions that he has brought low with his filthy humour.

The Canadian star of Deadpool appeared on the 4225th episode of the show, broadcast in November of 2010, post-Van Wilder, but pre-Green Lantern and very much pre-Deadpool.
He played the letter A in spoof sketch recalling the classic 80s show The A Team, alongside muppets Telly, Elmo and Abby.

As you will note, Reynolds' face is pushed through a hole in the top of the A, and conforming entirely to type, he's discussed the matter with his customary subtlety on Twitter.

It's all every bit as savoury as one would expect from Reynolds.

Though he did show his softer side recently, when tweeting the recording he made for the final episode of the late Alex Trebek's iconic gameshow Jeopardy! (Trebek had a brief cameo in Reynolds' movie Free Guy).

Trebek died in November last year, following a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
