Yes, you read that correctly... Sainsbury's is selling a Pigs in Blankets flavour mayonnaise this Christmas.

The attention grabbing condiment is sure to divide opinion and is already available now in selected Sainsbury's stores ahead of the festive season.

The supermarket says the flavour of the staple sausage and bacon treat is recreated in mayo form with smoky paprika and savoury rounded notes. It's recommended as an accompaniment to left over turkey sandwiches, on your roast potatoes or even with actual pigs in blankets for real pork fanatics.

If that doesn't take your fancy, the supermarket is stocking bottles of Sauce Shop Brussel Sprout Ketchup, described as a sweet, nutty flavoured ketchup, with a distinctive taste and packed with Vitamin C.
