During the New Orleans Saints’ wild-card game against the Minnesota Vikings, the team honored a local broadcaster who died late last month.

The Saints left flowers and a name card in memory of Carley McCord, a 30-year-old New Orleans broadcaster who died in a plane crash Dec. 28.

McCord had a number of freelance gigs around New Orleans, including a job as an in-game host for the Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans. She also worked for WDSU and ESPN.

The 30-year-old McCord was one of five people who died after a plane crashed in Lafayette, Louisiana. The plane was en route to the College Football Playoff game between LSU and Oklahoma. McCord’s husband, Steven Ensminger Jr., is the son of LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger.

It’s the second time McCord has been honored in the press box. McCord also had a press box seat at the Sugar Bowl, which also took place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
