Scott Disick leaves a cryptic comment on Kourtney Kardashian's swimsuit photo

Following Scott Disick's split from Sofia Richie earlier this year, the rumour mill went into overdrive about whether he and Kourtney Kardashian were getting back together.

First came the affectionate father's day caption from Kourt to Scott. Then there was the fact she was wearing his clothes. Followed by flirty comments on social media. Are they a thing? Are they not?

It's hard to say for sure, but Scott has only added to the confusion with his latest cryptic comment on Kourtney's Instagram photo, which fans are trying to read into.

In case you need a recap, Scott, 37, and Sofia, 21, called time on their relationship after three years in May. A source told E! News at the time that "there wasn't a fight or anything bad that happened between them," but Sofia wants to "do her own thing" while Scott "take[s] care of his health".

Mere days later, he was linked with Kourtney, who he shares three children with - Mason, Penelope and Reign. A source told People that while the pair are "not back together," Kourtney and Scott "are incredibly close."

Since then, speculation has sort of fallen silent - until fans saw Scott commenting on Kourtney's Instagram pics again. The 41-year-old shared a fire swimsuit pic to her 99.7million followers yesterday [18 August] with the caption: "lake ya."

Scott quickly commented, "What a lake er."

Fans are trying to work out what it means, with many replying to Scott's comment and willing the pair to get back together. "Soulmates," one wrote, while another added, "Get back together already". A third said, "He's always flirting with her."

Can someone tell us what a lake er [sic] is please? And also if they are a thing again? Or will ever be? We just have so many questions.
