With inflation and rising prices hitting many families hard, you may be looking for ways to save this school year. If you live in some states, one way to save is to wait to do school shopping when a tax holiday is taking place. That’s when some states pause their sales taxes (in particular, on back-to-school items).

Here’s a look at when several states are set to pause their back-to-school sales taxes. Keep in mind only certain types of items may count for the tax holidays, and there are generally maximum thresholds associated with items that fall under the tax relief procedures.
