See every one of Carrie Underwood 8 different outfit changes at the 2019 CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood is no stranger to the Hollywood red carpet and regularly ranks as one of the best dressed at awards shows. But if there's an event where Underwood really shines, it's the annual CMAs, which the iconic singer has hosted every year since 2008.

To mark her 12th year hosting (and tying with Vince Gill, who had previously held the record as the longest-running host for 12 years), Carrie will be taking on the 2019 awards show in a whole wardrobe full of outfits -- 8, to be exact.

“Carrie’s carpet look is full of hand beading and intricate embroidery, perfect for country’s biggest night,” said one of her stylists Marina Toybina to PEOPLE. Added co-stylist Courtney Webster, "That’s something that Carrie does so well, mixing glam and edge with femininity and sparkle.”

“We discuss each little detail, from the tailoring, to the jewelry, all the way down to the perfect shoe to complement each look,” Toybina said.

Her red carpet arrival with husband Mike Fisher was marked with a gorgeous and intricate sheer floral gown by designer Elie Madi. She later performed the show's opening song alongside other country music queens in a fringe marigold mini dress by Nicole and Felicia, and stepped into a royal blue bedazzled Any Old Iron pantsuit to award "Single of the Year" to Blake Shelton.

Following an epic performance by Reba, Underwood once again took the stage in a sequin green halter dress by The Blonds, showing some major leg. The 36-year-old then swapped into a sequined-embellished Maison Alexandrine pantsuit and top hat to premiere her new single "Drinking Alone." And to introduce Kelsea Ballerini's performance, the mom-of-two took the stage in a silver sequin mini dress with a sheer bodice by Nicole and Felicia.

After a few more notable performances from Little Big Town, Halsey and Lady Antebellum, Underwood returned to the stage with Reba in a gorgeous strapless floral Berta Couture dress to introduce Maren Morris and her performance of "Girl" -- it's a look that we suspect will be our favorite of the night!

The "Drinking Alone" singer wore a sheer nude gown with blue detailing to welcome Garth Brooks and Blake Shelton to the stage.

Tune back in to see what Underwood will step out in next!
