Yahoo Finance Selena Gomez Debuts New Platinum Blonde Hair Colour In A Cryptic IG Post
Selenators, it's time to unite, for today is a big day – and yes, by 'big' I mean more shocking than the My Mind & Me announcement... Basically what I'm trying to say is that we think (key word here) Selena Gomez has dyed her naturally dark brunette locks platinum blonde. Yep, she's only gone and taken us by surprise, debuting said hair transformation on Instagram but (another key word here) with a very cryptic caption. Activate Nancy Drew/Jessica Fletcher/Sherlock Holmes mode.
Recently, Selena has shared a series of ambiguous posts on social media, including throwback stills from some of her past music videos. And now she's added to the mystery with a snap simply captioned, '3'.
Whilst we aren't too sure what this could mean (though, my DMs are always open and welcome to speculations and theories), what we can be sure of and clearly see is that the person in the pic has long blonde platinum hair. And with a blended dark root, too.
Now, obviously – and to my dismay, I must admit – we cannot see the face of the blonde bombshell, so we can't be certain that it is Selena. For all anyone would know, this could be me in the pic! Spoiler: it's not. Gah.
Plus, the star did have this exact hair tone circa 2021 and 2017. So, could this be a throwback? Or is it really a revival of the iconic eras?!
My hope is the latter but for now, we'll be keeping a close eye on all that SG is up to... as the old adage saying goes: 'Gotta keep an eye out for Selener'.
