Selling Sunset's Jason Oppenheim is an absolute powerhouse in the real estate industry. But outside the office, the single 43-year-old is just a regular guy looking for love. Oppenheim recently spoke with People about his love life — dishing on what he’s looking for in a woman, to his feelings on dating a co-star.

The broker shares that he’s currently on the search for “someone that I'm friends with, and that I'm happy with, because I can have stress in my life from work." He continued: "Someone I'm relaxed with, happy with, and that's just funny and smart," noting that it’s a bonus "if we have things in common."

Now, as you may recall from the series, Oppenheim previously dated co-star Mary Fitzgerald. The pair dated for about a year, lived together, and adopted dogs Zelda and Niko. They broke up approximately four years ago and Fitzgerald moved on to French model Romain Bonnet, whom she married.

While all seems well between the former exes, cast members expressed frustration over Oppenheim's treatment of Fitzgerald in season 3. Their most notable complaint revolved around the number of listings Fitzgerald was given by Oppenheim. After hearing the talk going around, Oppenhiem poked fun at his treatment of his ex on Instagram. In a photo that shows him being handcuffed by a cop, he jokingly wrote "I gave one too many listings to Mary."

While Fitzgerald is currently off the market, Oppenheim was put on the spot about whether he’d pursue a relationship with any of his other co-stars— a.k.a. his employees.

"That's such a big bowl of mess that I don't need to get into," he answered, noting that Fitzgerald wasn’t actually working for him while they were together. "I've never dated anyone that was working at the Oppenheim Group and there's no one that I would consider."

The former attorney also gave his two cents on dating apps. He explained that he prefers to meet people "organically" and is currently not on any of the apps. "I'm open to it," he said, but "not as open to it as I think most guys are."

That being said, Oppenheim does admit that it has been difficult to meet new people in real life because of the pandemic. Will he cave and download Tinder? That’s up to him. Either way, we’d love to see a girlfriend by his side in Selling Sunset season 4.
