Having sensitive skin can be a pain (trust me, I know). As a skin care lover and experimenter, I know first-hand how taxing it can be on the skin to use heavily-fragranced products that compromise its barrier.

For years, I’ve struggled to find the right products to properly moisturize my sensitive skin while providing as little irritation as possible.

After purchasing tons of products advertised as “fragrance-free,” I found, after digging more deeply into their ingredients lists, that many of them contained essential oils and other irritants.

Over the past two years, I’ve amassed a tight list of six moisturizers that I rotate throughout the year (dependent on the season). And each product soothes and properly moisturizes my sensitive skin without any irritation.

In the colder months, I alternate between the rich and creamy Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Face Cream and the Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Moisturizer. For days when my skin is particularly drier, and the climate is colder with low humidity levels, the Skinfix moisturizer is the perfect solution; it’s honestly a game-changer that I now can’t live without.

In the summertime, when I need something that’s deeply moisturizing but not super heavy, the Peach & Lily Glass Skin Water Gel Moisturizer is my go-to. It provides just the right amount of hydration without making me look like a greased-up mess.

Also, everyone with sensitive skin needs a product that instantly calms the skin when it feels inflamed and compromised. For me, the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream does just that. It provides instant relief and quickly absorbs into the skin.

These products and more are particularly perfect for sensitive skin as they’re all fragrance-free!

Take a look at my go-to fragrance-free moisturizers below that I use year-round. Prices range from $22 to $58.
