Sharon Stone is no longer interested in seeking out a romantic relationship.

The 62-year-old has put dating behind her, explaining to Drew Barrymore on the ET actor's show that she wants to focus on her friends and family first and foremost.

"I’m done dating. I’ve had it with dating," Stone said. "Because I just find people to be insincere and not worth my time. I enjoy my alone time and my time with my kids and friends more.

"I just feel like I don’t need another kid, I don’t want any insincerity and bologna and game planning. I don’t know how to say this in a way that is politically correct."

She added: "I don’t feel like men are at the same place women are right now. I have really good men friends, but I just feel when it comes to emotional maturity in relationships that men and women are seemingly in different spots."

The Basic Instinct star is mother to three adopted sons, Roan, 20, Laird, 15, and 14-year-old Quinn.

Stone told Barrymore she was trying to teach her sons about "misunderstandings" surrounding power, masculinity and "what it means to be important" to ensure they have healthy relationships in their lives.

While she may currently be single, the mother-of-three has been married twice, first to producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 until 1990 and then to newspaper editor Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004.

She and Bronstein adopted her eldest son Roan together.

Stone got into a bit of trouble last year while looking for love on dating app Bumble after her account was blocked when it was reported as a fake.

A spokesperson for the app later confirmed Stone had been unblocked after she posted about the incident on Twitter.
