HOUSTON, Dec (Shanghai: 600875.SS - news) 6 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc (LSE: 0LN9.L - news) 's 285,000 barrel per day (bpd) joint-venture Deer Park, Texas, refinery may restart a reformer on Tuesday as repairs to a leak on the unit are nearing completion, a source familiar with plant operations said on Tuesday.

The 45,900 bpd Catalytic Reformer 3 was shut on Wednesday to repair a pinhole leak near a valve, according to a notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. (Reporting by Erwin Seba Editing by W Simon)
