Shell shuts FCC for a week at 70,000 bpd Ontario refinery - source
NEW YORK, July 6 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell (Xetra: R6C1.DE - news) shut down a fluid catalytic cracker at its 70,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Sarnia, Ontario on Monday for a week of maintenance, according to a source familiar with the plant's operations.
The company is replacing the exchanger in the catalytic cracker - a main gasoline producer - and the unit is expected to restart by the end of the week, the source said.
