Shell shuts JV Deer Park, Texas, hydrocracker for overhaul -sources

HOUSTON, April 20 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc (LSE: 0LN9.L - news) shut the hydrocracking unit at its 325,700 barrel per day (bpd) joint-venture refinery in Deer Park, Texas, on Friday, said sources familiar with plant operations.

The 67,000-bpd hydrocracker was shut for a multi-unit overhaul that will include the refinery's two crude distillation units and coker, the sources said. (Reporting by Erwin Seba Editing by Marguerita Choy)
