Leather is on its way to being one of fall 2022’s biggest trends. From pants and trench coats to dresses and tops, leather is everywhere in stores right now. If you want to cop the look for less, Gap’s high-rise faux leather flares are extremely popular, and they’re close to 30% off this weekend.

Gap’s “biggest little sale” is actually pretty major. Regular-priced items are 10% off, plus an additional 20% off when you spend over $100 and use the promo code ADDIT. Additionally, sale items are an extra 50% off when you use the code GOSHOP at checkout.

The High Rise Faux Leather ’70s Flare Pants are on sale for $72, marked down from $89.95. However, you can get them for even less — get them for $64 when you place an order totaling over $100 and use the code ADDIT.

According to Gap’s website, the pants are selling fast, too. Over 150 shoppers purchased them today (including myself). The pants come in a smooth, black faux leather with a zip fly and button closure. They also have pockets similar to Gap’s jeans.

As for fit, the pants come in short, regular and long inseams, as well as tall and petite styles. However, the product description says the style runs slightly big, so keep that in mind if you’re ordering.

“These pants are your dream pants! Pairs perfectly with sandals, heels or ankle boots! The fit is spot on and they look and feel amazing! Grab yourself a pair…you will not be disappointed!” wrote one Gap reviewer.

“Received my faux leather [pants] yesterday. Ladies, please add these to your closet,” wrote another reviewer. “You will not regret it. I am 5’10” [and] the long is right on point. I can’t wait until the fall arrives to wear them.”

I’m waiting to get mine in the mail, but I’m excited to wear them based on the reviews. I’ll probably pair them with a white tank top and cardigan in the fall and a chunky knit sweater as the weather cools. If you want to get them, do it before the Gap’s sale ends — or before your size sells out.
