Skydivers light up the sky with ‘surreal’ sparkler show: ‘Next-level imagination’

Adrenaline junkies get excited, and scaredy-cats beware! These skydivers decided to go for a late-night jump — and it was intense.

Skydive instructor Mark Wallace and 16 of his close friends ascended 10,000 feet over Skydive Spaceland in Texas. They free-fell from an aircraft just after dusk, and to make things more interesting, the crew of 17 fitted their suits with colorful LED lights and attached sparklers to their feet.

Footage shows them descending to the ground as glowing embers burst from their shoes.

Video doesn’t do it justice of how insane this visual is in freefall. What an awesome way to end the weekend. @vserigs

“The jump was split into two groups: movement and static. I was a part of the movement group,” Wallace told Daily Mail. “The static group built a formation then split it down the middle. The movement group then flew through the middle of the two groups.”

At one point the entire crew turned upside-down as they plunged toward the ground, making the sparklers blast upward. It was definitely a one-of-a-kind light show.

“This was one of the most surreal things I’ve ever experienced,” Wallace said. “Video still doesn’t do it justice. It was just so cool to be part of this visual spectacle in person. This was a skydive I will remember for the rest of my life. I want to do it again right now!”

Wallace posted the video to his Instagram page, where the commentariat was impressed.

“That’s next level imagination,” one user wrote.

“It’s so f****** amazing, dude,” another said.

“Damn, Mark, this rocks,” a person commented.
