Soho House interiors collection, from sofas to plates, coming to new Chelsea store

Soho Home, a sister brand to Soho House, the private members’ clubs chain, is set to open a new London store selling homeware products and offering events and interior design services.

Soho Home Studio will take over a 6,000 square feet site on the corner of Duke of York Square and King’s Road.

Soho Home stocks products that are inspired by those found in Soho House sites, including cushions and mirrors.

The latest venue will have retail space for the homeware and furniture collection, rotating pop-up space for members to sell goods, and there will also be workshops and access to interior design services.

The five-year lease at 6 Duke of York Square was agreed with landlord Cadogan, whose director of asset management, Claire Barber, said the new tenant “will be a welcome addition to the neighbourhood”.

Aalish Yorke-Long, managing director of Soho Home, said: “This is the first time our members and customers have been able to experience the full Soho Home collection in one space and meet with our expert team of interior designers, who will work with them to bring the Soho House interiors aesthetic into their own home.”

The store is due to open in September, and property agents CBRE, Lunson Mitchenall and Nash Bond advised on the letting.

The deal comes after the company behind Soho House, Membership Collective Group, last month floated in New York, with the business valued at around $2.8 billion (£2 billion).
