Yahoo Finance Son Heung-min at the double as Tottenham breeze to victory in Belgrade
Son Heung-min inspired Tottenham to a comfortable 4-0 win at Red Star Belgrade.
Giovani Lo Celso scored his first goal for the club in the opening half to cap a remarkable move which saw the woodwork struck twice.
And the South Korea star bagged twice in four minutes before Christian Eriksen’s late strike as Mauricio Pochettino’s men breezed to a first away win of the season in Serbia.
The important win gives Spurs breathing space in Group B, putting them four points clear of third place with two games remaining.

In an opening half lacking in action, Harry Kane fired his first shot of the game into the side-netting, before Son dragged a cross-shot wide of the far post.
Midway through the half, though, Spurs were lucky to avoid falling behind when Milan Pavkov’s shot from the edge of the box fell back to him after a Juan Foyth block, only for Paulo Gazzaniga to make a remarkable save to deny the Serbian.
It turned out to be a pivotal one, as the visitors scored 11 minutes before the interval in scenes resembling a farce.
Kane was played through on goal and slid his effort under the onrushing Canadian international Milan Borjan only to be denied by the post.
Son, following in, saw his effort blocked by three defenders on the line, before Dele Alli was seemingly brought down challenging for the rebound.
England talisman Kane then picked up the ball on the left and volleyed it across goal, which Son threw himself at - only to see the ball ricocheted off the crossbar.
Lo Celso then coolly slotted into the corner to bring an unbelievable sequence to an end.
The Argentina midfielder then prodded wide from the edge of the box as Spurs sought a second, with Alli wasting a presentable opportunity after Kane seized upon a defender’s slip.
But shortly before half-time, another bemusing move almost saw the hosts level. Former Huddersfield winger Rajiv van La Parra latched on to a loose pass inside the box and fired an effort onto the post.
The rebound hit Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez, who could only redirect a looping ball onto his own crossbar as Spurs eventually cleared.
After the break, though, the hosts threw away an opportunity to level after Moussa Sissoko lost the ball in midfield.
Pavkov waltzed into the box and, with the goal gaping, overhit a pass to Marko Marin which tamely rolled out for a goal kick.
It cost them as a rapid counter-attack saw Tanguy Ndombele pick out Alli on the edge of the box, who slid in the clinical Son - and he made no mistake from close range.
Pavkov struck from long range from the resulting kick off, which Gazzaniga saved with consummate ease.

Tottenham then wrapped up the points exactly on the hour mark. Kane picked out Danny Rose on the overlap and the former Leeds man provided an inch-perfect cross for Son to bag his second goal in four minutes.
The double will help Son put a week behind him which saw him affected by the injury to Andre Gomes on the weekend.
Kane then saw an effort blocked behind as Pochettino handed Ryan Sessegnon his Champions League debut with 15 minutes remaining.
The England starlet then registered his first assist to the delight of Spurs fans. After being picked out in space on the left wing, he found Eriksen inside the box and the Dane’s deflected effort crept into the corner.
And the former Fulham attacker might have registered a second assist in the dying minutes, only for a slip to foil his attempted pass to Kane.
In the end, the 4-0 win means the north London club can confirm their place in the knockout rounds when they host Olympiacos next.
