TOKYO (AP) _ Sony Corp. (SNE) on Friday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $797.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Tokyo-based company said it had net income of 62 cents per share.

The electronics and media company posted revenue of $19.31 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $8.32 billion, or $6.43 per share. Revenue was reported as $78.67 billion.

Sony shares have declined slightly more than 3 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped almost 6 percent in the last 12 months.
