South Africa's producer inflation slows to 7.0 pct in April

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's producer inflation slowed slightly to 7.0 percent year-on-year in April from 7.1 percent in March, the statistics agency said on Thursday. On a month-on-month basis, prices at the factory gate were up 0.8 percent, compared with a 0.7 percent increase the previous month, Statistics South Africa said.
