Speculators pare U.S. dollar bets for a 2nd week -CFTC, Reuters

March 18 (Reuters) - Speculators reduced bullish bets on the U.S (Other OTC: UBGXF - news) . dollar for a second straight week, with net longs at their lowest since about late February, according to Reuters calculations and data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission released on Friday.

The value of the dollar's net long position fell to $6.59 billion in the week ended March 15, from $6.88 billion the previous week. Net (LSE: 0LN0.L - news) dollar longs came in below $10 billion for a fifth straight week. (Reporting by Gertrude Chavez-Dreyfuss; Editing by James Dalgleish)
