Yahoo Finance Teacher jailed after photoshopping schoolgirls to make it look like they were performing sex acts on him
A sports coach who photoshopped schoolgirls into pornographic images was caught after his wife found the disturbing photos on a family laptop.
Matthew Williams, 50, used photo-editing software to alter innocent snaps of pupils who went to Shipston High School, in Warwickshire, and other schools he worked at.
The dad-of-two doctored the images between July 2015 and December 2018 to make it appear the girls were taking part in sex acts with him at his marital home, the court heard.
Williams was rumbled when his wife found the images alongside hundreds of other indecent photos of children on a laptop that was shared by his family.
She reported her discovery to his employers and police were contacted.
Williams, from Kingswinford, West Midlands, admitted three charges of making indecent images of children.
When he was interviewed, he admitted using photo-editing software to alter the pictures, for which he accepted there was a sexual motivation.
Williams was jailed for eight months and ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years at Warwick Crown Court on Monday.
Prosecutor Nicholas Berry said Williams’ marriage had been under a strain after he had had an affair, and in December 2018 his wife began to suspect that he was still cheating on her.
She decided to check their laptop computer when he was out and came across a file which could not be viewed without the use of a memory stick.
There was one by the laptop, and when she looked at its contents, she found at least two folders which contained thumbnail images of underage girls.
There were also close-up pictures of him exposing himself in their living room – some of which had been doctored to make it appear girls were performing or about to perform oral sex on him.
The images also had comments attached to them naming the children pictured by their correct names.
Williams worked as a sports coach at several schools in south Warwickshire, and some of the girls attended those schools, although they were not coached by him.

The computer and memory stick were seized, and the police found just over 500 indecent images of children.
They included seven in category A, showing girls being subjected to penetrative sex acts, and 413 category B images of girls involved in non-penetrative sexual activity.
Six of them were ‘pseudo-images’ in which innocent images of girls taken from legitimate sources had been doctored to make it appear they were taking part in sex acts.
Sentencing, Judge Sylvia de Bertodano said: “This collection of images you collected over three years was kept on your family computer, used not only by you, but by your wife and children, aged 12 and 16.
"It is fortunate it was not your children who found them, but they easily could have done.”
