Stacey Solomon has become an Instagram sensation with her super-satisfying 'Tap to Tidy' videos. Whether she's clearing up cooking mess, the kids bedrooms, crafting or creating snack sculptures, she's a modern day Mary Poppins; clicking between before and after photos and videos to create the magical illusion.

Crafting and tidying are a source of calm for the Loose Women star, just like many of us, and now she's sharing her methods, hacks, recipes and crafting make-ups in her first book, Tap to Tidy: Organising, Crafting & Creating Happiness in a Messy World.

Ever humble, Stacey said in the press release for the book: "When I started doing Tap to Tidy on Instagram, I had no idea people would enjoy the satisfaction of seeing a huge mess turn into something liveable as much as I do! And I’m so grateful, because, quite frankly, it’s the only content I’ve got most of the time. It’s been a dream come true to put all my favourite tidying, organising and crafting projects into writing and share my weirdness with the world.”

Not forgetting her musical beginnings, on top of all that tidying there's a QR code to scan and download a playlist of all of Stacey's favourite songs to craft to, including classic pop-hits from Destiny's Child to Christina Milian.

She also shares some of her favourite small businesses across home, kids, clothing, jewellery, food and crafts. Having championed small businesses through the pandemic with the #SupportSmallwithStace hashtag.

Stacey's been asking fans for their input in the book process, listening to their opinions on everything from design to illustrations, and thanked them for their support and encouragement as she revealed the finished book on Instagram.

Telling followers: "I can hand on my heart say I’ve thought so much for so long about every word, drawing, diagram, craft, snack, tap to tidy and playlist in it, from cover to cover. It’s taken over my life for the last year. 😂 You all told me to go for it and so I did... I just hope it’s everything you thought it would be and I really hope I do you proud."
Tap To Tidy is published on 4 March by Ebury Press, an imprint of Penguin Random House.
