Stacey Solomon says her sons will walk her down the aisle at summer wedding
Stacey Solomon is planning to marry Joe Swash this summer when lockdown restrictions are scheduled to be lifted, and she's revealed that her sons will play a very important part on her big day.
The Loose Women panelist got engaged to Joe after his romantic proposal on Christmas Eve, and the couple plan to tie the knot in July so all of their loved ones can attend - although they are also content on having a smaller wedding if restrictions tighten again.
"There are people in our lives who we don't think we will, unfortunately, have much time left with," Stacey told Hello! magazine. "So if worst comes to worst and we can only have a wedding of six, then we will get married with those special people."
Stacey said that her boys Zachary, Leighton and little Rex, with whom she welcomed with Joe, and Joe's son Harry from his previous relationship will walk her down the aisle with her dad.
"We've got four boys and they will all just be our page boys," the TV star continued. "We didn't want to make one the best man or give one a special role. But I would like them all to walk me down the aisle with my dad.
"Our dogs Theo and Peanut will of course also be involved! They're getting suits made and they'll have bow ties. I made a wedding planning book and a whole double page is dedicated to the dogs."
Speaking previously about their wedding plans on Loose Women, Joe told viewers: "To be fair, I didn't think we were going to get married so soon, I thought I would have a couple of years grace, but by all accounts we are going to get married in a few months…
"I think Stacey is really keen to do it this year, I am really keen as well because it has been a really tough year and I can’t wait for her to be my wife."
Awwww... You guys!
Stacey was promoting her book Tap To Tidy, which is published on March 4th.
