Kelly becomes unruly after jukebox skips song
Kelly, 23, was reportedly at Mario’s South Side Saloon late Thursday when the jukebox skipped his song selection and he allegedly became angry, per Liz Kilmer of WPXI.

Court documents say cops were called to Mario’s because Kelly was “disorderly” & threatened an employee after his song request was skipped.
Police say Kelly refused to leave, resisted arrest and told a cop “I promise to God I’ll (expletive) you up boy”@WPXI— Liz Kilmer (@LizKilmerWPXI) December 20, 2019
Kelly was asked to leave the bar by officer Zachary Webb, who wrote the police affidavit, but Kelly did not comply. When Webb accidentally stepped on a nearby woman’s foot, Kelly told him the woman, Devyn Pritchard, was “his girl,” per the police report obtained by the Post-Gazette. Kelly then pushed his chest into Webb and threatened him, per the report.
Kelly resists arrest
Kelly resisted arrest and eventually took Webb to the ground with him as a crowd grew around them, according to the police report. From report via Post-Gazette:
Officer Webb said he “knew that the longer officers struggled with Kelly, the more likely we would be putting ourselves in harm’s way either by Kelly’s actions or those of the irate onlookers,” so the officer decided to punch Mr. Kelly in the face multiple times. That allowed the officers to roll Mr. Kelly onto his stomach and place him in handcuffs.
Officers had to force him into the police car, per the report, and the player suffered a “busted lip” during the entire incident. He was booked at the Allegheny County Jail and released on bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 30.
Kelly signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent after a spring season with the Alliance of American Football. He started the season opener at free safety and is now listed as second string behind star Minkah Fitzpatrick.
