STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-FTSE AIM index gains, Oilex underperforms
Junior-listed AIM shares advance 0.3 percent, outperforming the FTSE Small Cap index and the blue chips, both off 0.2 percent, and the mid-caps, 0.3 percent weaker.
AIM-listed oil and gas firm Oilex (LSE: OEX.L - news) falls 15.4 percent in volume four times its 90-day daily average after its Australian shares are suspended from trading pending an announcement about capital raising, which may be dilutive to existing shares.
Fellow AIM stock GeoPark (LSE: GPK.L - news) falls 13.3 percent after the oil and gas explorer announces it has successfully completed its listing on the New York Stock Exchange, and will cancel its London listing next week.
