STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Legrand falls after sales dip

Shares in Legrand (Other OTC: LGRVF - news) fall 3 percent to a two-week low after the world's largest maker of switches and sockets narrows its full-year sales and margin targets following a dip in nine-month adjusted operating income and revenue.

The stock, which is up 30 percent since the start of the year, is the worst performer on the French blue-chip CAC (Frankfurt: CB4.F - news) 40 index on Thursday.

"Legrand has readjusted its objectives, and the stock had touched a high point," Meeschaert Gestion Privée fund manager Frederic Rozier says. "Thus it's an opportunity to take profits."
