Shares in ThyssenKrupp (Xetra: TKA.DE - news) rise 5 percent to the top of the German blue chip index after the German steel maker raises it full-year outlook on expectations-beating results.

"The results were good," says Heino Ruland, analyst at Ruland Research. "Order income was better than expected. It is clear to see the first steps have been taken to an improvement of business."

Trading volumes after almost two hours are more than double the daily average in the past 90 days.
